Responsible for content

Content on this hosted instance is maintained by the Citet project maintainers. For questions about project content inside a self-hosted Citet deployment, contact the institution or team operating that deployment.

Self-hosted deployments

Citet is self-hostable software. Universities, research groups, and other operators that run their own instance are responsible for publishing legally required contact and company information for that instance.

EU online dispute resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR): ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged or willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

Liability for content

As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these pages according to general laws (§ 7 (1) TMG). According to §§ 8 to 10 TMG we are not under obligation to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information, or to investigate circumstances that indicate illegal activity.

Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general laws remain unaffected. Any liability in this respect, however, is only possible from the point in time at which a concrete legal violation becomes known. Upon becoming aware of any such violations, we will remove the relevant content immediately.

Liability for links

Our offer contains links to external third-party websites. We have no influence over their content and therefore cannot accept any liability for it. The respective provider or operator of the linked sites is always responsible for their content. Linked sites were checked for possible legal violations at the time of linking; no illegal content was identifiable at the time of linking.
