Templates

Instead of starting from a blank main.tex, you can create a project from a template. Citet's templates come from Loadclass, the documentclass template registry in the Backmatter family.

Browsing the library

Open Templates from the top navigation. Each entry is a documentclass template from Loadclass. You can:

  • Search by name.
  • Filter by category.
  • Sort the list (for example, by most downloaded).

Selecting a template opens a details view with a preview and version information.

Creating a project from a template

  1. Open a template's details.
  2. Choose Create project. Citet provisions a new project seeded with the template's files and the right documentclass already wired up.
  3. The editor opens on the new project, ready to compile.

From there everything works like any other project — invite collaborators, compile, cite, and review. See Getting started for the basics.

Starting blank instead

You do not have to use a template. New project on the projects page always creates a minimal starter you can build up yourself.
